ISIA
ISIA Urbino is a graphic design and visual communication school with a strong identity which can be summarised as workshop based. ISIA is the most important state school in Italy for graphic design and publishing with strong local and regional bonds. Located in Urbino, a Renaissance town listed as one of Unesco’s World heritage sites, ISIA is housed at the Santa Chiara monastery, a building highly renown for its historic and artistic value.
Among the faculty ISIA has some of the best Italian and foreign professionals working in the field of graphic design, photography, and illustration. The institute’s identity is bound up with Italy’s healthy and productive history whose roots lie in the post Second World War period. ISIA is a place in which to learn social commitment and cultural design practices. My curriculum ‘Comunicazione d’impresa’ with third-year bachelor students is annually in the spring.
